BQ25601: SW pin short to GND pin

Hi.

What is possible reason that will lead the SW pin to short to GND pin permanently?

I had replaced this bad part with new one, but whenever I start charging, this part will fail.

Hi,

It is usually caused by overvoltage or overcurrent at the SW pin. Please monitor the SW pin voltage and inductor current.

Hi Ning,

Thanks for your suggestion. I had disconnect the load at SW pin (Vsys). Voltage reading without load is 3.4V. Even with SW pin isolated from our circuit, the problem still happen.
