Hi Laurent,
Yes those are being shorted. Are there any issues on the gate driver side?
No, I ran across this design and, I wonder the principle of this power transfer! Could you provide a link to the document explaining it?

Hi Laurent,
I haven't seen this design before and I know nothing about it, where did you find this?
I see, that schematic must have been from the customer or the poster, back when I responded to that thread I didn't notice that short you pointed out. After reading the top post you can see their system is a dual active bridge converter. We have a reference design for implementing our gate driver in a dual active bridge converter here: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidues0c/tidues0c.pdf
I hope this helps.

I know the tudues0c.pdf! But can you agree/confirm that the schematic, with the 'shorts' would not work? If so, my issue is resolved!
Regards,
Laurent
Hi Laurent,
That connection on the primary looks like a mistake to me, the coils of the transformer are being shorted so I can't imagine this system working as it should.
