TPS50601-SP: TPS50601-SP Worst Case Model

Part Number: TPS50601-SP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS50601A-SP,

Hello,

I am using the TPS50601-SP AVG TINA model to find the phase and gain margin but I am unable to measure the gain margin. I found a TPS50601A-SP Worst Case Analysis Unencrypted model in which I was able to simulate and measure the gain margin. Using the same circuit, I tried the same measurement with the regular TPS50601A-SP model and was unable to measure the gain margin. I am assuming I need a worst case analysis model for the TPS50601-SP in order to measure the gain margin.

I'm not sure if the TPS50601-SP has a worst case model, but if so is it available?

Thanks in advance!

  • Hi Robert,

Could you share your simulation files or at least screenshots of your schematic and measurement results so I can see how you have it set up? Both the Average and WCA models are capable of providing full frequency response results.

Regarding the question about the TPS50601-SP, there is not a WCA model for this device.

    Thanks,

    Sarah
