Hi  Team 

We started BQ34Z100-R2  Parameter setting  with big capacity battery, 

But I can not found   Design Energy paramert setting with bqstudio.

Our  side 

1)  bqstudio is 1.3.104  Test version 

2)  BQ34Z100   0100_2_01

Is this  bqstudio versiin issues ??

    Hello Jasper,

    For the BQ34Z100-R2, the parameter you are looking for is called "Energy Scale" and it is found in the Configuration section in Data Memory.

    I know about " Energy Scale ",   but II think this is Factor setting. 

    Anyway how to setting  Design Energy value for R2 version ?? 

    But Other  e2e  answer is   this one 

    >  The DesignEnergy has been changed to be hidden parameters, this needs to change the bqz file,

    >  please wait the new bqz file so that you can edit this data.

    I can find many about   " Design Energy "    parameter setting in R2 TRM,

    Any way ,  Could you tell us about How to setting "Design energy"  value in R2 version ??

    So Design Energy is a parameter available in older firmware, but not available in the newest R2 version.
    I am going to contact someone else in the firmware team, and look into this.

    Thank you very much.

    I think this BQ34Z100-R2  has new seeting .

    Design Voltage    Add Design Voltage in dataflash in Table 7-1 for Class Configuration, Subclass Data.

    And this device has  Design Capacity  setting,  my mean Desugn Energy can possible  calgulate by this  Voltage and Capacity Paramater. 

    But  -R2 version  Design Voltage  description is very small . 

    I think we need some application note  for   how to  set  Design Energy  value witn  Cunnret / Voltage / Energy scale setting. 

      This device has  new parameter setting  as  factor  of scale .  and we need more detale relation info  between  Design Energy and  each scake faxtor.

    It has come to my attention that the parameter "Design Energy" that is not avalible in the R2 has been a known issue. Currently, the firmware team is working on a fix for this.
