Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS22950-Q1
Dear TI team
I would like to ask you about the following four questions.
①Is the following order correct for starting up the high-side switch?
- Supply +5VDC power to VS pin
- DIAG_EN pin: L→H
- IN1: L→H
IN2: L→H
- OUT1: 5V output
OUT2: 5V output
② Regarding pull-up resistors for OUT1/2 outputs The data sheet "8.3.6.2.2 Channel Off" describes the recommendation of external pull-up resistors.
Is it correct to attach separate 20kΩ PullUp resistors to OUT1 and OUT2?
③ST1 may drop to "L" if the high-side switch is activated while a USB memory is connected to OUT1.
Please let me know if there are any possible factors for this phenomenon. (By the way, this phenomenon does not occur when the OUT1 USB is not loaded.)
(High side switch: OFF→ON (OUT1 load: Yes (USB memory connected), OUT2 load: No (USB not connected)))
➃It has been confirmed that when the power is turned on with no load connected to the OUT2 USB, ST2 will fall to “L” once.
Please let me know if there are any possible factors for this phenomenon.
(High side switch: OFF→ON (OUT1 load: None (USB not connected), OUT2 load: None (USB not connected)))
Best Regards,
Taroimo
