TPS723: VO spec for TPS72301

Hello support team,

My customer inquires TPS723 datasheet Vo spec. Could you support?

What does Vo on TPS72301 VS Vi/Io/T mean? Does this +/-3% mean Vfb -1.186V shift range including load, line regulation and temperature? They need to care additional accuracy on feedback resister.

Hi Ikeda-san,

That is partially true, but the error amp also shifts - the offset voltage also affects the output voltage accuracy. The spec they are asking about is the total variance that is seen at the output due to line regulation, load regulation, and temperature. The feedback resistor tolerance is not included in this spec.

Thank you for your support. They have additional question.

In case of IOUT = 5mA,

Load regulation typ=0.002%/mA

3% - (0.002%/mA x 200mA) + (0.002%/mA x 5mA)
=3% - 0.4% + 0.01%
=2.61%

Is their understanding correct?
