TPS54360B: EN Sink Current Limitation

Hello,

Is there a limitation on the sink current at the Enable pin? The datasheet specifies the values for hysteresis current (for higher Vin) and current limit if the enable is left floating.

hi, Kyle,

Unfortunately, we don't have min/max value for EN pin current source. no extra components needed on EN pin, however they can leave the resistor and cap, else they can also add a 0ohm resistor in series and not populate the rest.

Thanks Elena, I plan to add a Zener diode as mentioned in the datasheet. The diode I have chosen has Ir = 5uA ~ 10uA and was wondering if I needed to modify the Ruvlo resistors accordingly.

hi,

Zener is optional, if you already set EN UVLO, then you will know the EN voltage with max vin condition, to confirm EN voltage is not exceed EN max.

example of EN resistor value here, or you can calculate another resistor as designed UVLO voltage.
