Buck with light load efficiency that uses external mosfet

Hello TI,

Our Vin is 35-100V, we need a high efficiency at 3.3V 5-10mA load. We wont use more load than some 30mA.

Webench does not find me anything if i use the filter "external switch".

Can you recommend something good for this use?

Hello

Take a look at the LM5161 and LM5168.

I cant say if they will meet your efficiency spec, but they are among the few devices that go to 100V.

Hi Frank,

These controllers do not have light load high efficiency capabilities. It drops below 20% at high Vin and 10mA load
