Hello,

I am working with a battery pack that has a preconfigured BQ40Z50 IC. I am trying to discharge the battery passed the CUV limits to test a chargers ability to recover the battery. However the battery seems to be configured to stop discharging at 10 volts. How would I go about adjusting this threshold?

Hello Gray,

Have you confirmed it is the gauge stopping discharge or the secondary protector on the battery side?

You can communicate through EV2400 using BQStudio in order to edit the protection thresholds if it is the gauge stopping discharge.

Its definitely the gauge stopping it, which protection thresholds specifically would I alter?
