Dear TI support team,
Which pin will supply current to REFOUT and VO?
I increased load(0mA~10mA) for REFOUT, but current into REFIN or VLDOIN was not increased.
Best regards,
Shimojima Yoshifumi

Hi Yoshifumi,
Changing the load on REFOUT shouldn't have an effect on REFIN current as this pin is driven based on the input levels and not a load on the output. VO should be supplied by VLDOIN. Changing the load at VO should produce the desired effect.
Thanks,

Hi Field,
Thank you for your reply.
What supply REFOUT current?
Best regards,
Shimojima Yoshifumi
Hi Shimojima Yoshifumi,
I believe this is supplied by the internal voltage reference circuitry but I am looking further into specifically where/what. I have reached out to the corresponding experts, but with the holiday here there will be a delay. So please expect a delay in my response accordingly.
Thanks,
Field
Hi Field,
I understand. I will wait for your response.
Best regards,
Shimojima Yoshifumi
Hi Yoshifumi,
This should be supplied from VIN, which can also be roughly seen in the functional block diagram on page 11 of the datasheet.
Thanks,
Field
Hi Field,
Thank you for your reply.
I understand that REFOUT current should be supplied from VIN.
I have an additional question.
When REFOUT current exceeded about 30mA, I confirmed that input current into VLDOIN or REFIN rised.
When REFOUT current approches the current limit, is that supplid from VLDOIN or REFIN?
Best regards,
Shimojima Yoshifumi
Hi Shimojima Yoshifumi,
To better understand, can you tell me what happens at VO/VTT when you do this? REFOUT drives VOUT, so this may be what you are seeing. Waveforms may help here. Please let me know.
Thanks,
Field
Hi Field,
Thank you for your reply.
I am sorry, I had misunderstanding about above the second last posting.
It may be the other problem.
I will post another post after preparing some information as necessary.
Best regards,
