LM25148: diode emulation

Hi Team,

My customer is planning to implement LM25148 into their modular IO project. Some questions to ask regarding the diode emulation feature.

If I want to enable diode emulation mode, any additional diodes needed to be added inside the circuit? As I can't see any diodes inside the block diagram around the LO pin, or from the EVM schematic.

Hi Ernest,

Diode emulation mode means we use the low-side MOSFET working as a diode, so we don't need to add a diode.

Hi Ernest,

When working in light load, the controller will turn off the low-side MOSFET at inductor current reaches zero, which can improve efficiency.
