Hi team,
How to close "Hardware-Based Protection" detect?
Now it always trigger AOLD protection.
Because the customer's new product "Peak Current" has a high chance to over -100A
Could you help check this case? Thanks.
Best Regards,
Cherry

Hello Cherry,
100mV is the max the gauge can be set to for this protection, you would have to use a lower sense resistor in order to support applications with over 100A discharges.

Hi Wyatt Keller,
Thank you for the support.
Why can the maximum value of ASCDx reach -200mV as the following figure?
Thanks and regards,
Cherry
Hello Cherry,
The ASCD hardware overcurrent protections occur faster than the overload (AOLD). The gauge cannot support continuous currents over 100mV (100A with 1mOhm sense resistor) because AOLD maximum setting is 100mV.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
