My customer would like to know if we have experience on EMI class B? Since customer would like to evaluate implement/non-implement EMI workaround solution difference based on cost/solution size...etc. Do we have input could provide to customer? Thanks a lot!

Can you clarify, are you talking about the EVM or the device? I am unfamiliar with EMI classes. If you can clarify I can provide some input here!

Hi Ann,

Our PSE is industrial grade qualified and our EVM's are designed for general purpose to evaluate PoE functions, not targeted to achieve system level EMI conformity. With that being said, we design our EVMs with EMI in mind.

I will check internally with the team if anyone has any further specific knowledge on this subject.

Hi Ann,

Our PSEs do not have switch power supply, therfore we do not have EMI class B on our PSE EVM's. This is typically done on our PD EVM's.
