TPS75003-EP: Query on insufficient solder for components

Hi, I would like to ask on this part. After the soldering process, the condition of the contacts on the side is as below.

Could I ask if toe fillets are necessary for the contacts? I have also included xray scans of the soldered components for your review.

Hi Chew Zhi Hao,

As a toe fillet can help with the mechanical strength and reliability of the solder joint, it may not hurt to add a toe fillet. This may also help deal with vibrations or mechanical stress and prevent solder joint failure. This should also reduce the chance of solder cracking or joint fatigue over time.
