TPS61094: No Supercapacitor scheme

I want to use the TPS61094 in boost mode.

The condition are:

* Always the Vin will be a Li-ion Battery 3.3V-4.2V

* Vout voltage must be 5V.

* The TPS will supply a sensor, maximum current 300mA.

* No need Supercapacitor or backup feature

Could you please double check the schematic ?

Hi Jhon,

Are your output caps all electrolytic capacitors? If it is, we recommend to add at least one ceramic cap at input and output.

If not, only one 22uF ceramic output cap is not enough. We recommend to use 3*22uF output cap (at least 2*22uF).

Hi Nathan , thanks a lot

All capacitor are ceramic. I will add an electrolytic at output. The input voltage will be at 2 inches aprox. Should I add the bulk capacitance at input?

Hi Jhon,

If it is 2 inches, it doesn't need bulk cap at input.
