Rds constrain is there for this active synchronous rectification.

for us 1kw LLC converter,output side synchronous rectification mosfet Rds=16mohm.

while testing bottom side mosfet blows off.we just followed

TIDA-010080 reference design

my doubt is can we use higher Rds ON say 20mohm for synchronous rectification?

Hi Venkatesh,

The Rdson should be at least the value specified in equation 3 (page 22) of the datasheet.

Hi manikanta,

Actually i am doing 1kW LLC converter,we bought Mosfet with higher RDS ON to recuce cost.

could you please suggest/advise me to implement this and get output.
