TPS55340: EN Threshold Voltage range is confusing.

Hi Team

We are planning to put voltage divider before Enable pin of TPS55340.

We are confused about that 6.5 Electrical characteristics Ven is quite different with the Graph Figure 6-11.

Please let us know which one is right. Thanks

Hi Changhee,

Please use the value in the 6.5 Electrical characteristics. These values in the table are guaranteed by test.

Figure 6-11 shows a typical value and how it varied with temperature.

Thank you for your reply.

This is Additional Question.

We use TPS55340 in temperature range 5℃ to 70℃.

In this case, Can you let us know the EN Threshold voltage?

That`s because We want to make Enable low at the Vin minimum voltage at 7.6V and Enable high at the Vin maximum voltage at 11.1V

"-40℃ to 150℃"'s EN Threshold voltage range is too wide for our application.

We cannot provide EN Threshold voltage within 5℃ to 70℃.

Maybe you can take a look at LM5157 UVLO. You can program the ON/OFF voltage with LM5157 and LM5158 Quickstart Calculator for Boost Regulator Design.
