TPS50601A-SP: Line regulation

Part Number: TPS50601A-SP

Dear TI team,

I am reaching out to inquire about the TPS50601A-SP line regulation data.
To provide some context, our application involves a primary Buck-converter that supplies power to the TPS50601A-SP.
However, the primary converter experiences a SET (Vout decreases by 8% for a duration lower than 1 ms). I am curious to know what impact this SET on the primary converter is expected to have on the TPS50601A-SP's Vout.

Best regards,

Filipe Costa

  • Hey Filipe,

The line regulation of the converter is incorporated into the voltage reference specification as a whole
(See top of the electrical characteristics table)
This value is not measured separately.
If you have already verified the voltage reference is appropriate you wont have to worry about the line transient.

    Thanks,
    Daniel
