Hello,

we are design USB-C docking station based on TUSB1064. question: to drive HDMI port (from TUSB1064): can we use SN65DP159 or should we use MCDP2900 or STDP2650 active protocol converter?

please advise at your earliest convenience

Hi,

The DP159 is a passive level shifter. To go from DP to HDMI, you would need an active protocol converter. In this case, MCDP2900 or STDP2650 active protocol converter is the right solution.
