TPS61089: schematic review

Hi team,

      The customers plan to evaluate the TPS61089. Could you please review the schematic for customer(especially in loop setting)? Vin is 8.4V. Vout is 12V, Iout is 0.3A rms 1A peak. 

      And there are another questions from customers:

      1.Conditions for TPS61089 enter PFM from PWM;

      2. How PFM works；

      3. is there out of audio function in tps61089?

    Hi nan,

    The parameters are all ok.

    The tipping point when device enter PFM from PWM is the time when the inductor valley current come to 0.

    it can be calculated: Iavg=1/2*ΔIL=1/2*Vin*Duty/L/fs=0.18A, for the output current it will be about 0.11A.

    For PFM mode, please refer to the d/s.

    There is no out of audio function in tps61089.
