The turn-on loss vs Id curve in Fig. 7-10 in the datasheet, Does than loss include both the devices in the half-bridge? will that be half for one device?

Hi Nidhi,

We measure these losses in a half bridge topology where both devices are the LMG3422R030 device. These losses are for both devices in the half bridge in a hard switching situation.

Thanks Kyle, just to confirm, both the devices are hard switched? Since usually in buck or boost converter configuration, one device has natural soft switching.

Hi Nidhi,

The setup is a double pulse test, the low side device is hard switched.

Yes, the bottom switch is hard switched and the top device is off.
