TLV62565: Body diode current derating

Could you please clarify if you would like to know if the body diode is capable for carrying 1.5A?

is it like a reverse load current?

Thanks. Yes, customer would like to know the capability of the current on the body diode. When FET is turned off, and the current continue conducting in the body diode.

I checked internally, but we would like to understand more about the concern here. 

Under normal operating conditions, it is highly unlikely that the body diode of the PMOS would conduct as long as Vin > Vo. 

Could you please explain more what are the customer conditions for which they think of a reverse current? 

TLV62585 is an auto mode device depending on the load current. Negative current limit is specified for devices with FPWM mode operation. When the output voltage goes above regulation, the device stops switching and turns off both HSFET and LS FET.

This is special applicaion on ICT test, we will directely add voltage (e.g. 3.3V) on TLV62565 ouput capacitor, in this time the intput side at TLV62565 get voltage due to internal high side body diode. This indirect voltage create by body diode will provide power to another circuit, so body diode will carry some current, that why i need to know the capability of the current on the body diode.

Are you aware how much current can be drawn through the body diode, atleast the range of current? is it uA or mA range?

Would it exceed the ABS max rating of the pins of the device?

The rough estimate current drawn through the body diode is around 300mA, it's not exceed the ABS max rating of TLV62565. Thanks.
