When the redriver IC entry power saving mode, if other device can read its status by I2C? then we can do something which related with PC power status.

Hi,

I2C registers would still be accessible even in low power mode, so you can read the I2C registers.

Thanks for your quick reply, I have another question, if the registers are different when IC entry power saving mode/ power off/ working mode?

Hi,

You will have to write TUSB1044 registers in order to place it into power down mode. TUSB1044 will not automatically update its registers.
