Hi all, 

I was looking into the VREF capabilities for the UCC27611 and was wondering how much current will the internal regulator of the device will draw as well any potential efficiency curves you can share of that internal VREF regulator. Any data or estimations would be appreciated in this case and I appreciate the help on this request!

    Hi Filipe,

    There are no efficiency curves for the regulator, but it can be calculated with η = VREF / VDD. The power loss can be calculated via the equation P = (VDD - VREF) * I , where VDD is what you set, VREF = 5V, and current is derived from the switching frequency and load of what you're driving. The current is the same as how much regulator will draw.
