Hello Team,

I would like to use the TPS650864 associated with a XCZU17EG MPSoC from Xilinx.

This PMIC seems to match the sequencing constraints of the component.

But in the scea113 note, in Table 4-1, the appears that TPS650864 is not compatible with XCZU17EG speed grade -1.

Can you explain why ?

    Hi Lionel,

    The TPS650864x family has multiple PMIC versions. Two of the versions do not cover the -1 speed grade (TPS6508640 and TPS65086401) but the TPS6508641 version can be used with a discrete buck to provide a full solution.

    Also, you could use the user-programmable TPS650861 as a solo PMIC solution or with a discrete buck.

    The reason some of the PMIC versions don't cover certain speed grades is due to the difference in output voltage programming and rail timings.
