Hello,

It takes 24 us for the time the device receives the fault tone to the BQ79600 asserting nFAULT low. The twisted cable part number for the daisy chain is PR517-002 Manufactured by Krypton themselves

Thanks for you feedback. What kinds of faults doese nFault pin can report? do you have a Fault type detial list for reference.

BTW, what is the longest distance of daisy chain can bq devices can support?

Hello,

Whenever your BMIC reports any kind of fault flag, the nFAULT pin will be asserted. In the datasheet for the BQ79616 you can see all the various types of faults.

We test very long daisy chain cables, couples of meters. The longest distance depends on your isolation components and VIF signal integrity. Please refer to the VIF applications note to see how to properly measure your VIF waveforms to ensure proper communication.

For the 79600, for below OVUV block, the OVUV can work in active mode , sleep mode and shutdowm mode?

Which modes of three OVUV work or all the three modes OVUV can work?

OV/UV is operational in ACTIVE and SLEEP mode.
