My customer is designing lithium-ion batteries used in mobile routers, and they would like to periodically record the temperature data of the built-in battery pack, transmit it to the terminal, and accumulate the data.
Even if the terminal side is turned off, they would like to keep a certain amount of past log on the battery side so that it will be moved to the terminal when the terminal is turned on.
They have seen BQ40Z50 on TI website. But they are not sure if the above requirements can be achieved using BQ40Z50. Could you please tell them if BQ40Z50 could do what they want do?
If possible, I would also like to know the timing of data acquisition and the amount of data storage.
