My customer is considering LP38503TS-ADJ and has a question.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

I have a question about Land Pattern Recommendation of LP38503TS-ADJ

Land Pattern Recommendation is described P.12 of datasheet.

When the edge of the land and the edge of the tab are aligned, part of the lead (0.27mm) protrudes from the land.

Are the recommended land dimensions correct?

Hey Shinichi,

Our land patterns are intended for the part to be centered rather than pushed all the way to one direction.

The Package footprint is smaller than the dimensions of the land pattern.

I understand Land Pattern Recommendation is for setting center the device.
