Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ASH
We have designed in 2 UCD9090A devices (connected together) however I am not convinced the current release of GUI (7.9.1) is fully compatible. I tried installing it as admin and this did not appear to work because each step required me to put in my admin details so I gave up in the end, so I installed it as admin on a Non-Network PC which worked, however the programme still had the same problems:-
- The GUI is reluctant to save the current settings if there are any configurations you have not set, sometimes it asks you other times it just does not save
- The GUI does not appear to want to save any names entered for the Enables
- Limits and Scaling allows you to change the limits, but randomly when you select different rails then go back, you find it has reset them to their default values (% wise)
The 3 main questions I have are:-
- Is version 7.9.1 the best version to use, I remember reading on a forum that an earlier one is better, assume having only one version of Fusion Digital Power Designer means compatibility for so many devices is always going to be an issue.
- If there is a better version can you send it
- Can you confirm that you know of other designs that use more than one device, I have a concern that these issues are related to have more than one device
