We are using BQ40z50-R1.
If we set the NR bit to 0 but keep the /PRES pin low, then removed the communication over 5 mins.
After 5 mins or longer our BQ40z50-R1 can not enter sleep mode.
Did you know the reasons?
Please kindly provide your recommendations for us.

Hello Statham,
The device will not fully enter sleep mode when PRES is low (active low = set) and NR = 0. What I mean by not fully enter is, the device will attempt to enter Sleep mode, but then it checks for this condition and it will exit right immediately.
You probably will need to either control the PRES pin externally to toggle it or change the Data Flash NR parameter to 1.
