Hi team,

if our one of our 0x20 bit has been triggered,

will it be reset once the issue is gone or it will stay still for a duration of time?

Hi Fred,

Please see section 9.6.2.1 ChargerStatus Register of the datasheet. Most of the faults are latched until a read from the host. Some of the faults remained latched until the host clears the fault and the state status bits are not latched.

Hi Jacob,

so when a fault is triggered, and then after that we read it even the condition is already cleared in real time , it will still read that latch fault bit but clear the bit to 0 at the same time.

in short, can customer know all the fault history bit that latch when we try to read 0x20?
