USB-TO-GPIO2: No adapters found error while loading VC707 XML file using Digital Power Manufacturing Tool Version 7.4.1

Hi,

We bought TI USB Interface adaptor (called USB-TO-GPIO2 as per www.ti.com/.../USB-TO-GPIO2) in order to reprogram the TI power controllers on VC707 (as mentioned in support.xilinx.com/.../56811)

We are following the instructions described in VC707_Power_Controllers_Reprogramming_Steps.pdf, and using the MFR tool from this location : www.ti.com/.../FUSION_MFR_GUI

We are unable to program the device as the SW utility from TI reports "Manufacturing Failed" and "No Adapters Found". The adaptor LED is glowing "Green", looks like the adapter Module is all fine.

How can we proceed with the same? we are doubting something wrong with VC707 Power Controller values, need to reprogram it and we badly need the Setup to work. Can you please help with this?

Please use the latest MFR GUI beta 7.5.1 that support USB-To-GPIO 2022. Below is link to download the software:

Unfortunately the provided link looks to be broken. Getting "Couldn't Download - Network issue" error. Tried with multiple Browser/Devices-PCs, facing the same issue. PFA screenshot

Are there any other links to get this Beta version of the tool? Please suggest.

Hi Anne Ngo77,

Still its not working, I even tried downloading (just to validate the Link) from the Mobile/cellphone it pauses and faces Network issue after downloading 2MB /12.2 MB.

Please Note that, I used totally different Networks on Laptop and Mobile/Cell phone. The Downloading issue remains same in both the cases, will it possible to email the same?

Anne Ngo77, do you have a secured link to the path https:// ? probably that could be one of the reasons for the Download failures.

No, it does not have the https://. You have to check your IT department or contact local TI support to get a copy.

Hi,

When we used Cellular network and tried to Download the archive, it didnt work, so it confirmed that it has got nothing to do with the IT department settings.

When we tried with a VPN on Cell phone (Like Opera VPN), it got downloaded. Only worrying fact for us is that the link is http:// and not https:// .

We test on PC that is NOT on TI network, using web browsers and it works on Google Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. Please try using one of these web browsers to download the file to your PC.
