BQ34Z100-G1: Chemical ID Selection

Hello, 

I performed a log of charge/discharge cycle for an NiMH pack battery to determines the chemestry ID with Gauging Parameter Calculator (GPC).

In the repport file, the identified chimistry is LiCoO2, can this be possible ?

Caracteristics of my pack battery are following:

Voltage : 8400mV

Capacity : 2600mAh

cell number series : 7

 I attached the log data of the cycle

    I send 2 new log files to GPC to get the chem ID of my battery, I get attached repports with differents chems ID.

    I started learning cycle with the chem 6107 wich is from the same manufacturer but with not the same capacity, without succes.

    Can I send samples of my pack battery to Ti for caracterization ?

    Last night I did a new log file, I get attached report file, so I will strat new learn cycle with the chem ID 6117.

    The learn cycle with chem ID doesn't succed. I get learned status = 4

    I performed the cycle as : full discharge - Relax - full Charge - Relax - full discharge and Relax as specified in the technical data.

    I attached the log data if you can help tu understand what happen !

    Using the GPC tool, I did an Optimized Impedance Track Parameters, the GPC returned the Ra table but not gg_out.csv, how can I resolve that ?

    Use the GPCRB tool when using gg.csv

    The discharge must use 90% of battery/design capacity for proper learning.

    Thanks for your help. Indeed I calculated the discharge capacity and it's very low 68.9%

    I get learned status = 6 for the NiMH battery with some changes in the configuration, but with the new configuration I don't get the FC flag and estimated  full charge capacity is very low 453mAh !

    I run a new learn cycle, can you have a look on data ?
