Hello Experts,

I found a different comment about ship mode between datasheet and EVM user guide. I attached image as follows. Which one is correct?

If customer set EN_RST_SHIP_1:0 of SHIP_RST Register as "Enable shipmode with wake on button press or adapter insert", TPS25180 will acts;
- VIN voltage is applied: Shipmode is enabled when VIN voltage is removed.
- BAT voltage is applied: Shipmode is enabled when EN_RST_SHIP_1:0 is set.

Is my understanding correct?

    The datasheet has the correct information. I will make a note for the EVM User Guide to correct this item. Thank you for finding this!

    For entering ship mode, you can do this with an I2C transaction by writing 2b10 to EN_RST_SHIP or through a long press button action is the PB_LPRESS_ACTION is set for 2b10.
