Hi

My customer testing the bq4050evm-561 and there is a problem with its operation.
Do you happen to have a GG file in the EVM that it can use as a default?

    Please see the default configuration file attached. Or you can also program the default srec (See attached).

    Thank you for your response.

    They have additional questions about BQ STUDIO. 

    1. Want to know how to do the calibration

    2.Why can't it wake up when it's fully discharged and charged?

    Hello David,

    We recommend to open a new thread when the question is not related to the initial topic. This is so that the questions can serve as future FAQs. 

    To answer your questions.

    1-  Section 3.3 Calibration from the bq4050EVM-561 Evaluation Module User’s Guide should address this question.

    2- Please elaborate more. The device might be in shutdown mode, a quick way to wake the device is to press the WAKE bottom on the EVM which essentially bypasses the protections and applies a voltage level at the PACK pin greater than the Charger Present Threshold  (Assuming that the battery voltage is greater than this threshold - default 3V)
