BQ25172: Charge operation temperature range for each NTC

Dear in-charge person

In this device specification sheet, recommended NTC is 103AT-2 when charging operation at 0°C to 45°C.

103AT-2 spec are following

Resistor @ 25℃ is10kΩ

B value is 3434K

We can only arrange the following NTC.
Please let me know charge temperature range when using the following NTC.

NCP15XH103D03RC(MURATA) 10kΩ / B value 3380k

For 103AT-2 and NCP15XH103D03RC they are the same 0C to 45C.

For NCP15XV103J03RC the range will be about 1C to 41C.

Hello

The TS current source is 38uA and will generate a volage across the NTC. The BQ25172 TS pin cold shutdown voltage is 1.04V and Hot shutdown is 0.188V.

If the voltage is between the two points we have normal operation.

For 103AT-2 and NCP15XH103D03RC resistance at 0C is about 27.3k and 45C is about 4.9k.

For NCP15XV103J03RC the higher B of 3900 causes a larger change in resistance, it is about 27.3k at 1C and 4.9k at 41C
