Hi TI Support,
I'm developing an application where I'll be using the TPS65987D device, and want to take advantage of its ability to load firmware configurations over flash memory thru the SPI bus. But want to make sure I can program that flash memory. I found the Application Report SLVAE21A titled "TPS65987 and TPS65988 SPI Flash Firmware Update Over I2C" but I'm afraid software isn't my forte.
1) Can I program it using the PD chips connection to a host system over I2C?
2) Or do I need a direct connection to the flash memory chip?
