    Hello

    We have not generated a plot of copper area vs power dissipation.  The datasheet does have thermal information in section 6.4.

    The BQ25172 has a Thermal Regulation (Treg) feature that will control power dissipation.  Die temperature is monitored when it reaches a preset point output current is reduced and unit operates in a thermal regulation mode.
