LM2642: 12V two-phase/single-channel application circuit

Part Number: LM2642

I have read through the datasheet for this part and see typical application circuits for a 3V/5V single-phase/dual-channel application (Figure 2) and a dual-phase/single-channel 1.8V application (Figure 3). I was wondering if a 12V two-phase/single-channel typical application circuit exists anywhere as I would expect this configuration to be a common use case for this chip. In my particular situation, I would like to input 24V.

  • Hi Isaac,

How much output current are you targeting for this design?

What are the application requirements: transients, output ripple, solution size/power density, efficiency?

This is an older device that doesn't have as much reference material for this specific application.

    Thanks,

    Joseph
