We have a requirement for the spec below, please help to look for the 2 suitable solution. Thanks

 

Size: Must be minimized, MOSFET must be integrated inside the chip and it is much better to fit choke inside.

  1. 5V -> +12V/0.1A

        2.5V -> -12V/0.1A

    Hi Jimmy,

    We have TPS61046 in 6pin WCSP package, the size is 0.8mm x 1.2 mm with max height 0.625mm.

    Both the low-side and high-side MOSFET are integrated.

    The Vin range is 1.8V to 5.5V, the max Vout is 28V, and the min peak switching current is 600mA.

    5V -> +12V/0.1A can be conveniently realized by this device.

    I guess the second condition is 5V -> -12V/0.1A, not 2.5V -> -12V/0.1A. We can use TPS61046 + charge-pump(external capacitors and diodes) to realize it.

     

    Another option is to use one TLV61048 with charge-pump to generate +/- 12V.

    TLV61048 is in 6pin SOT-23 package with size of 2.9mm x 1.6mm with max height 1.45mm.

    If the charge pump that used to generate negative is not acceptable, then we may involve buck team to further check.

    Just le me know if you see any concerns.
