BQ28Z610-R1: BQ28Z610-R1 can not write the parameters

Hi

The customer test with BQ28Z610-R1, the problem is can not change the parameters unless the GAUGE_EN set 0.

The automatic refresh has been turned off, and unseal state. The phenomenon is still the same.

There are 3 PCBA have this problem.

    Hello Star,

    The Gauge_EN condition should not affect when to write to data memory.

    What is the customer trying to do? Can you specify which parameter the customer is trying to change?

    Thanks for your reply.

    They want to change the Cycle Count = 0, Qmax Cycle Count = 0,Update Status = 02. But fail to change.

    It is very curious.

    Please help check it.

    Hi Star,

    Gauge_EN is 1 when Impedance Track is set. 

    While Impedance Track is enabled, the user cannot manually change Update Status = 02. I was able to change Cycle Count and Qmax Cycle Count regardless of Gauge_EN. 

    It is recommended to change the Update Status to 02 after the learning cycle and the only way this can be done is if IT (Gauge_EN = 0) is disabled. Disabling Gauge_EN should automatically change Update Status to 02.


    Gauge_EN controls the ITEN bit in LStatus() register.
