I can't find this suggestion already on the forum, so I'd like to add it. I apologise if it has been posted already.
Could TI please add a parameter type to describe whether or not a part provides 'Constant Current Source' outputs? Or even the type of output, e.g. Constant Current vs Open Drain.
Constant current sourcing is such a useful feature (saving PCB area, part assembly, etc.) that I would usually try to find LED drivers with constant current outputs. So it would be helpful if the product selector included it.
I have had a look at the hidden parameters, and it isn't there. The part description often seems to mention constant current source, but I'd end up compiling my own list, which seems a bit silly. I have searched the forum, and can't find this request anywhere.
Overall, I do like the part selector. It presents plenty of information on a single page, and seems to give access to all the other criteria I've wanted to use.
