My customer is looking for an eFuse with ITIMER with below condition.

Do we have an IC for this? If its a roadmap device, send me an email personally.

Vin=30V

Iout = 4A

Requires ITIMER function

We have TPS1653 with fixed 25.5ms tCB(dly) transient blanking time like iTimer.

What is the EE and application use case ?

Hi Rakesh,

This is for Class-D amp.

ITIMER was most suited since you can set the delay by a capacitor.

TPS1653 seems like it is fixed delay. I will check with the customer if this fits the case.

I have response from the customer.

They actually would like to have 40s to 1min delay for TPS1653.

Do we have a solution example for this?

ITIMER and other feature is for short delay time, is my understanding.

Hi Luke,

That can be possible with TPS4811-Q1 controller by sizing the CTMR capacitor. please have a look.

Are you suggesting a massive capacitor on this pin? or am i understanding incorrectly?

{(82*10^-3)[F] * 40[s] } / 1.2 = 2.73333333333[F]

Hi Luke,

It is 82 uA so the CTMR is 2.7mF. But, it is still high.

Better option is to use microcontroller and control INP pin
