Hi, teams.
I wan to calculate the discharge time.
In DS, only typical value is specified for Rpulldown.
How much variation should we consider?

Hayakawa

Hey Hayakawa-san,
The Pulldown resistance depends a lot on the VIN conditions of the LDOs apart from temperature and manufacturing process variations.
We generally don't characterize the Rpulldown variations and it would be difficult to provide a guaranteed variation range for the same.
Could you please provide details about VIN conditions and I can give some ball-park estimation on the variation.
Regards,
Rohit
Hi, Rohit
Thank you for your reply.
We have 2 condition that VIN = 3.3V and 5V.
It would be helpful if you could estimate the variation.

Hayakawa
Hayakawa,
Let me validate some numbers on this internally and I will come back to you by Thursday EOB.

Hayakawa,
Based on our simulation data, expected variation would be approx. +/-30% across temperature, and manufacturing process for both 3.3V and 5V VIN.
For VIN = 3.3V, the Rpulldown will increase to approx. 180 ohm (typical value).
Please let me know in case further details are needed.

Rohit
