TPS65910: About start up with push button.

Hi team,

Our customer want to start this device with push button on connected PWRON pin after input voltage is applied.

In below E2E question, it is said Applying input voltage is enough to start the PMIC.

Could we set this device start up with button by register setting or other way?

To use the PWRON pin and a push button to start the PMIC, do the following:

Set VMBCH_IT_MSK bit to 1 in the INT_MSK_REG register, so that PMIC doesn't switch on when input voltage is applied. (This can be done in the EEPROM settings)
Push button for at least tdbPWRONF
Have processor send PWRHOLD high signal before tdONPWHOLD elapses.

To view the timing diagrams, look at Figure 5-4 in the datasheet. Additionally, section 6.3 of the datasheet details the state machine that controls this behavior. The TPS65910 EVM User Guide shows how to wire the push button in the schematic.
