Hi,

Is it possible to use the EV2400 as an interface between a PC and the BQ40Z80 to run test scripts after programming to verify functionality? Is there an API or some other tool to develop this capability?

Hello Alex,

You can use bqStudio advanced comm to send commands. There is no API for the EV2400. TI is in the process of publishing an API for the MKST-3P-ALT-EV2300 which can be used in place of EV2300/EV2400.

Okay I see. Is there any sort of checksum or verification done when programming the BQ40Z80 using .srec files on BQStudio?

Yes, checksum verification is included in the programming process.
