UCD90320: fault response when UV is triggered

Rail 25 is not going to be off unless rail 3 has UV fault and the fault response of rail3 is set to shutdown.

They turn off rail 3 enable pin and rail 3 Vout is close to 0V which trigger UV limit. Won't it trigger rail3 fault response condition to turn off rail 25? Thanks!

Please share the configure file and waveform capture.

what does turn off rail 3 enable pin mean? Did your customer short the EN or let UCD to turn off the EN. they are different case.

UCD won't report UV fault if the rail is off purposely.

Thanks for reply. Below is the reply from customer. Sorry he didn't provide the file to me, I will ask for it.

Based on below picture, does it mean cusotmer has already used rail 17 fault shutdown rail3, then we cannot use rail3 UV fault to shutdown rail 3? We can only choose one fault as shutdown event, right?

No since Rail 17's fault response is set to ignore and rail 3 won't be off.

But the best is to review their configuration file.

please kindly help to check the attachment for the code. could you check if it is okay or not? If customer cannot use UV of rail3 to trigger rail 25 turns off, could customer use GPI(pin F4) --> rail 17 shutdown then use rail17 fault shutdown to turns off rail3? then we trigger rail3 fault to turns off rail 5? I also attach the original email to explain more for their concern. Please let me know if you have further question on it, thanks!

Based on the file, UV of rail 3 shall shutdown rail 25.

Therefore i need you help to provide snapshot of the system monitor as following before and after UV of rail 3.

Please ensure the rail 3 and rail 25 are included at the snapshot.
