Hi,

Can anybody share the schematic of TPS54231 based LED driver - Constant current LED driver.

The input voltage is 12VDC & the output has 3 LEDs of 1W rating , each, connected in series (total 3W)

Dear sir,

Now we already using TPS54231 IC for LED driving application but i have a small problem . inductor is creating humming noise and if we vary the input voltage at same time out put current also vary.Pls give your better suggestions for implement the Design.

Input Parameters

Input Voltage Range :10.5 to 15 Volts

Input Current : Depend on our Requirement Maximum 1000mA.

Output Voltage : 9.5 V max

Output current : 1.2A max

If you are varying conditions at audio frequencies, you may incite the inductor to hum. I general, you will need to change your input voltage outside the audio frequency range. You may also be able to encase the inductor in conformal coating to attenuate the sound. can you post your exact schematic and some waveforms that illustrate your problem?
