TPS25750EVM: configuration software

Part Number: TPS25750EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25750

looking at using the TPS25750 part for a new line but can not find the configuration GUI software.  found the web interface but our production will not have internet access and it's are not working anyway.

Where can I download the configuration software and can I test run it without the chip?

  • Hi,

What do you mean by the web GUI interface is not working? What do you see the issue is?

Unfortunately, we do not have an offline GUI for TPS25750 available for public use. I will check internally to see if it is possible to somehow download the web GUI interface for offline use.

You can use any GUI interface without the chip (change register settings and configurations). The GUI also allows for generating binaries that can be flashed to memory or patched to the PD chip later.

  • Hi,

You can download the web GUI interface for offline use by clicking on the button on this page:

  • Thank you for pointing out the small download symbol. it seams words are not in favor now days at TI.  I looked into why the web kept cycling and tracked it to a plugin that tries to access the computer hardware (USB) from a web page.  Our co. protection software blocked it and then the TI web site keeps trying to download it again.  I do not know why you need USB access for demo software unless its a miss lead attempt to try and save me a few keystrokes to enter the device number.  I have no need to download anything until I decide to go with the part in my design.

My original goal is simply to figure out how to configure the GPIOs. I just need a 2.5V "USB connected" signal that was a simple divider for USB 2.0.  I'm needing to resort to using the software since the chip docs only hint at the possibility the GPIOs can be configured.  I can't tell if the I2Cs port is needed or if it is a EPROM setting or both. comes back to TI's resistance to words Disappointed

  • Hi,

I apologize for the inconvenience. The GPIOs can be configured in our web GUI interface in advanced mode via the I/O Config register.

We simplified our resources and GUI interface for this device to try and cause less confusion for customers. Generally, for web customers, we found that the documents and full GUI interface we had did more harm than good. This is why we have this E2E forum! I'm glad you found it. Please let me know if additional support is needed.

    Best,
