Team, I'm confused about the voltage derating 38V,max for SW_Transient <20nS. Why is it 38V at this condition? Is that correct?

Brian

Hi Brain,
It means the overshoot of SW rising shouldn't beyond 38V and undershoot of SW falling shouldn't lower than -3V.

I know the TLV62569 has SW voltage rating with a transient time. it's high than max. voltage. but in this spec, i don't see the similar one, why?

Hi Brian,
This is depend on parameter of internal mos. For higher Vin range, SW voltage rating with a transient time is different as well.

I'm confused with you meaning. Do you mean this device have the identical stress for DC, SW, and SW with a period of trasient time?

Brian
Hi Brian,
Yes, the positive stress of DC SW and SW with a period of transient time are same, they are both equal to 38V.
And negative stress are different, DC SW is -0.3V, SW with a period of transient time is -3V.
